Okay, I’m tired of being the random stranger on the internet. You can call me Jeremy instead.
I’ve been sensitive all my life. But I neglected my sensitivity for waaaaaay too long, and it caused me so much suffering:
At the age of 28, I had experienced 2x burnouts and a 3-year depression, determining most of my twenties with struggle and adversity.
You might wonder, “what does sensitivity have to do with that?“
And the answer is:
More than you think.
From a scientific point of view, HSPs are proven to pick up much more information through their nervous system than the average nervous system.
We’re simply wired differently because we’re able to pick up on the most subtle of cues, like:
- Feeling the emotions of others when they walk in the same room as ours
- Getting the general ‘vibe’ of people (sometimes, for no apparent reason, we freak out by someone because their vibe is ‘off’)
- Being very analytical and prone to overthinking. We process so much information that we always look for patterns to understand what’s happening.
- ‘Normal’ events in life have a big impact on us
- Juggling the responsibilities of a job, partner, family, and friends can often leave us feeling exhausted
- We struggle to set boundaries and be able to say no
And the list goes on.
It’s a blessing if you know how to manage yourself but a curse if you don’t know how to handle it-
Because no one ever told me I was sensitive, I literally burned out twice.
Because I didn’t know what was going on for me, I became depressed.
To cope, I started playing video games, excessively drinking, and doing a bunch of drugs, all in an attempt to not feel so much.
I got overweight, struggled with finances, found myself in toxic relationships, and ended up feeling lonely and alienated.
And I’m writing this to you for one simple reason:
Had I known that I was an HSP, had I known that I needed to actively take care of myself in ways that I wasn’t, I could’ve prevented most of this incredible struggle.
It all changed when a coach helped me understand that I was hypersensitive. This allowed me to take responsibility for my sensitivity and understand how my sensitivity was influencing my life, and choose a different future.
It took me years to recover and redirect my life in a different direction. But I did get there.
By mastering my sensitivity, I was able to accomplish a radically different life.

- I stopped feeling overwhelmed all the time, and instead felt much more energized throughout my days
- I started saying ‘no’ to things that didn’t serve me.
It led me to live a life I love.
